Postgraduate in montage

As a student of Film and TV, the postgraduate course that I would like to take is related to montage, I would like to specialize in several areas of this, documentary montage is one of these but I would also like to delve into image management, such as coloring and special effects.  I have thought that Argentina is a good option to study this subject, the cinema is valued in a better way in that country and there are a variety of schools around the subject. I prefer to study in person, I am not sure if full time everything depends on the situation in which I find myself.  As they say, montage is the “backbone” of any audiovisual project, I am fascinated by precisely that part, being able to restructure images and give them meaning, I think I have a certain facility around montage, I have been editing for a long time, but still I need to go deeper in the possibilities that the new software have.  If I had the opportunity, I would like to stay in Argentina for a wh...

The future...

At the moment I am a film and TV student at the University of Chile, I would like to specialize in various areas of Cinema, director, director of photography and editing, I love all these areas, in any case I would like to be in constant change and not only dedicate myself to these areas. I plan to delve into Latin American cinema, I would like to interact with different cultures in Latin America and rescue stories, whether documentary or fiction, I feel that there is much to explore in this great continent. Also in these search for stories always carry a personal camera to make photographic series.  The money is necessary to keep me in this process, for the same to try to award me some financing, I hope I have a fixed salary to maintain savings, things that I have not thought about yet. Latin American cinema is very powerful and in recent times it has had much more reach with streaming platforms, I hope to be part of this wave of filmmakers.  Giro Guerra's cinema has inspired...

My favorite subgenre of movies

My favorite subgenre of movies As many people I am a fan of science fiction in films, there is a subgenre within them that I am passionate about with its themes, this subgenre that is also presented in literature is called dystopian, in this style of films decadent societies are always presented with deep problems that affect most of the people, the opposite of a Utopia. There are great contemporary films that we all know or have heard, such as Matrix, Blade Runner or V for Vendetta.    I like the way of thinking about the society that many dystopias do, my favorite dystopian film without a doubt is “Children of Men” (2006) by Alfonso Cuarón, the script, the photo and the art, in addition to the concepts behind are incredible, the film is set in England in 2027 where women around the world lose the ability to have children, many conflicts affect different countries and England remains semi stable with a giant wave of immigration and racism.    For me this fil...

Spain and Barcelona

I would like to travel to Spain I consider it an interesting country because of its culture and ethnic groups that live in the territory, specifically I would like to live in Barcelona for a very personal issue, in Barcelona the architecture of the city allowed a culture or counterculture (I am not sure how to define it) what is skateboarding to break through, I really like skateboarding and I practice it, many iconic videos of this "culture" have been filmed in Barcelona and it is currently a must-see for any skater. The most visited place in Barcelona to practice skateboarding is the MACBA (Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona), it is an open and well-traveled place, this place has stairs, walls and a perfect floor to practice.  In addition to the above, I would like to know the Mediterranean Sea and the beaches of that sector as well as its gastronomy, well what a common tourist would do haha, I think that Barcelona is the perfect place to meet people even try to lear...
