At the moment I am a film and TV student at the University of Chile, I would like to specialize in various areas of Cinema, director, director of photography and editing, I love all these areas, in any case I would like to be in constant change and not only dedicate myself to these areas. I plan to delve into Latin American cinema, I would like to interact with different cultures in Latin America and rescue stories, whether documentary or fiction, I feel that there is much to explore in this great continent. Also in these search for stories always carry a personal camera to make photographic series.
The money is necessary to keep me in this process, for the same to try to award me some financing, I hope I have a fixed salary to maintain savings, things that I have not thought about yet. Latin American cinema is very powerful and in recent times it has had much more reach with streaming platforms, I hope to be part of this wave of filmmakers.
Giro Guerra's cinema has inspired me a lot with films like “El Abrazo de la Serpiente” and “Pajaros de Verano” with themes of violence and suffering, it tells stories of the past of this continent, the images of pain are joined to beautiful landscapes, there is something in these films that speaks of our essence as Latinos that I really like.
